It was already late afternoon when the queen brought her child back from a busy day. “Aww Mommy , I’m not tired! Can i go out and play with Thel a bit? Just ten minutes, she is still outside ...”, Aarok tried to convince his mom and pulled hisself up on her golden necklace.Not even his sweetest grin could change her opinion this time.
“Listen, my little one, you can see her tomorrow, right after you woke up, allright ?”, she smiled and wrapped her claws around him. “Well and now it’s time for b... wait!”, she raised her head and looked to the entrance of the cave.
Suddenly she could hear the sound of dragonroars and the smell of blood was in the air.
“What’s going on there Mom? Is Dad fighting again?”, Aarok waited with impatience for the reply. “I’m not sure by myself, i will take a look outside...”, she lifted up and slowly walked to the entrance.
“You wait here Aarok, it won’t take long.”
Aarok followed her order, it was as if time stood still, he was so curious, couldn’t wait anymore. After some time, he suddenly heard his mother screaming, the young dragon jumped to his feet immediatly and ran outside.

His mother was laying on the ground. Aarok tried to reach her as he suddenly got interrupted by a strong hit in the side. He looked up, the last thing he saw was a red silouette above, everything turned dark as he closed his eyes...

Last 20 minutes of Aarok together with his mom Aurora before the Red dragons started their attack. Aarok is maybe 10 years old, a very very young dragon, who spends most of his time at his mommys side and wants to go out and play with his friends.
It was very hard for him to loose his parents in these young years.
A sad background this time, even if the picture looks so adorable.
